Trams - A/B/Z Class

All built by Comeng in Dandenong these tram still remain in service for almost 3 decades. Z Class trams where manufactured between 1975 and 1984. The first of these tram where originally painted orange for safetey reasons.
70 A Class Trams were also built between 1984 and 1987 and offer improved passenger comfort in comparison to older models.
B1 Class trams are the only modern tram with air brakes [the rest have hydraulic brakes] These tram where the first articulated tram providing high capacity for longer routes with high volumes of passenger because of the 180 - passenger capacity
